Poly-L-lysine, hydrobromide, non-sterile
Poly-L-lysine is a positively charged amino acid polymer in which one hydrobromide (HBR) molecule accounts for one amino acid residue. Hydrobromide allows poly-L-lysine to have a crystalline, water-soluble form.
In cellular technologies, poly-L-lysine is a extracellular matrix used to facilitate cell adhesion to tissue culture-treated plastic and glass surfaces.
