DMEM medium, without glutamine, glucose content 4,5 g/l, with Na pyruvate, with НЕРЕS
The Dulbecco's Modified Eagles Medium Low Glucose is used for culture of a wide range of animal and human cells. High glucose content is suitable for culture of to high density suspension cells.
DMEM media is a mixture of inorganic salts, amino acids, vitamins, glucose and phenolic red dissolved in purified water, sterilized through filters with a pore size of 0.1 microns. The DMEM medium is a modification of the BME which contains a higher concentration of amino acids, vitamins and other additives. The medium conteins 25 mmol of HEPES and has a high buffer capacity.

This product is intended for research purposes. The product has a Russian registration certificate as a medical product.
- Appearance: clear, red-orange solution, without opalescence and sediment.
- pH: 7.0 to 7.4
- Osmolarity: 320±20 mOsm/kg
- Buffer capacity: at least 10.5 ml
PURPOSE: is used for culture of a wide range of animal and human cells.
PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS: Before use, add 292 mg of sterile L-glutamine to a bottle with medium (450 ml). Manipulate the product in aseptic conditions.
HOW SUPPLIED: in sterile plastic wide neck bottle of 450 ml.
SHELF LIFE: 1 year.
STORAGE: +2 to +8 °C in a place protected from light.
RECOMMENDED USE:
- Do not use the product after its expiry date.
- Use gloves, mask and clothes adapted to the manipulation of the product to avoid contamination.
- Manipulate the product in aseptic conditions.
- Supplements such as antibiotics or L-Glutamine should be added as sterile supplements to the ready medium.
- Medium should be clear and free of opalescence and sediment.
