On October 29–31, the largest international conference on microfluidic technologies, «Smart Microfluidics 2025», was held in Rostov-on-Don. Among the key speakers were a representative from the Kurchatov Institute, Nikita Marchenkov, and experts from India – Drs. Chandrakanth Gadipelly and Vishwanath Dalvi.
At this event The PanEco Group gained recognition as a manufacturer of nutrient media for microfluidic technologies in biotechnology and medicine. An important result was the use of our product, «Spermoprep», as the basis for a microfluidic chip for sperm selection. This chip has already undergone testing at the V.I. Kulakov National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Perinatology.
At the conference, we not only presented our developments but also gained valuable practical experience. Our specialists actively participated in master classes on producing working chip samples, studied modern software for 3D modeling of complex microfluidic system architectures, and identified a production base for creating our own in-house developed chips. The experience gained opens up new prospects for the development of microfluidic technologies in Russia.
